Two winners in the Norwegian Pavilion

Last week the Norwegian Pavilion surpassed 1,5 million visitors. This marks halfway to the original estimate of three million visitors. If the visitor rate continues in the same fashion, the Norwegian Pavilion may be experienced by almost four million people before the end of EXPO on October 31.

Friday June 25, the Norwegian pavilion at the 2010 Shanghai EXPO welcomed its millionth visitor.

At first, the 48-year-old AC technician Zhu Xingwei from Changzhou, Jiangsu Province thought he had done something wrong as he was pulled aside and congratulated by State Secretary Halvard Ingebrigtsen from the Norwegian Ministry of Trade and Industry, Pavilion Director Espen Guterud and General Commissioner Arild Blixrud.
